We all know Valentines Day is quickly approaching and most of us end up buying and giving the same old things. ‘Here’s your bear, flowers, and chocolates.’ ‘Here’s your old fashioned (South Park fans anyone). However, in an effort to save your waistline and your pancreas from the ravages of diabetes, I have created a list of things that you readers might like instead.
- Zero Tolerance 0350: $140
I have used this knife for a year and would marry it were bigamy legal in my state. It’s built like a tank, spring assisted and the tooth keeps you from slicing your hand should you ever stab something with it. I will be doing a review on this in just a few weeks.
2. Galco King Tuk Holster: $62
I have two of these. One for my J frame Smith and another for my Sig 226. They are very comfortable and well made. They also keep even full size pistols from printing very well. Look out for this review.
3. Laserlyte Laser Training Rounds: $95
This is also a good tool. I have a 9mm and 40cal. The 9mm has gotten noticeably dimmer, but I have used it extensively. I have had no issues with the 40 cal. This is a great training tool for first round hits with a pistol which ultimately matter the most in a gun fight.
4. Rogue Bar 2.o: $255
My personal favorite all around bar. Good for power and olympic lifting and you can drop it all day, with no ill effects. It’s rated for more weight than you will ever be able to move and guaranteed for life. Pro Tip, you can get customized bands to put around the collar that can say whatever you want (like ‘Do you even lift, Bro’ and ‘Bar-pads? Don’t you mean traps?’). Ultra Pro Tip, if you miss a lift with the bar you can always blame it on the bands, which can weigh up to 5 or 10 lbs in your imagination. It’s a really great way to save your ego.
5. H&K P30 SK: $550
If you get an H&K for valentines day then you win at life. I’m a big fan of their weapons. They always produce high quality pistols that function on demand every time. I don’t own this pistol, but if anyone wants to give me one for Valentines day I will give you a handmade card with sparkles. Hell, I’ll even make you a shoe box with shiny wrapping paper.
